Location
This fully equipped cosy retreat in the Cumbrian countryside, is set in its own private paddock over-looking the river.
You have the hut, an outside seating area with BBQ, plus the paddock lawn, all to yourselves.
The hut sleeps 2, but if you want to put up a tent for a few additional people, then that can be arranged for a small extra fee.
If you feel hardy enough you can go wild swimming in a pool a two minutes walk from the hut.
The Space
The sitting and dining areas provide a perfect spot to relax, read a book or enjoy a meal. The shower room ensures you start each day feeling refreshed and revitalised.
The Partridge hut comes with Wi-Fi and a wood-burner effect electric stove – perfect for cosying up inside on a rainy day.
As you step outside, you’ll discover a delightful garden space, thoughtfully designed to enhance your experience. Take advantage of the fire pit and barbecue facilities, perfect for creating memorable moments with loved ones as you gather around for an evening of warmth and delicious food.
The garden furniture invites you to bask in the serenity of your surroundings, whether it’s sipping your morning coffee or stargazing under the clear night sky. Your furry friends are part of the family too, which is why this shepherd’s hut accepts dogs allowing you to share this magical escape with your beloved canine companions.
Guest Access
Private use of the hut, patio and paddock, plus access to the River for which fishing permits can also be arranged. There is plenty of space to park either next to the Hut or alongside the gate on hard standing.
During your stay
We live on the small farm and will be around (most of the time) should you need help but are far enough away that we will not invade your privacy!
Other things to note
We have a 2 black Labradors who are very friendly and may visit you, but they are well behaved! No cats please!
You can arrange a visitor’s fishing permit from Brampton Anglers if you wish to bring your rod and fish.
